Data Use Agreement
This Agreement describes what data is collected and used when registering for and using the local sports competition service Ride Batumi (ridebatumi.com), hereinafter referred to as the "Service."
By using the Service and completing the registration process, you confirm that you have read and accepted the terms of this Agreement and that you are at least 18 years of age.
1. General Provisions
The Service is designed for organizing and publishing the results of local competitions held by enthusiasts. The Service is publicly accessible but is not intended for commercial use or a mass international audience.
Registration is permitted only for individuals aged 18 and older. Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data provided during registration.
2. Data Collection
The Service may collect, store, and process the following data:
- User nickname;
- Information about the bicycle(s) (name, type);
- Link to a Strava account (optional);
- Race results, finishing positions in races and championships.
Additionally, the authentication provider stores the user's email address. The email address:
- Is not displayed on the public profile;
- Is not published;
- Is accessible only to a limited circle of Service administrators.
3. Publicly Available Data
The following data is considered public and is displayed within the Service:
- Nickname;
- Information about the bicycle(s);
- Race results, finishing positions, and historical competition records;
- Participation statistics for races and championships.
This data is published in accordance with the Service's objectives and is essential for maintaining the history of competitions and athletic results.
Consequently, public data and results are generally not subject to full deletion, even if the user stops using the Service.
Exception:
- The Strava account link may be modified or removed by the user at any time.
4. Purposes of Data Use
Data is used exclusively for:
- Registration and identification of competition participants;
- Generating start lists and protocols;
- Calculating and publishing results;
- Maintaining the history of competitions and championships;
- Displaying participation statistics.
Data is not used for advertising or marketing distributions.
Data may only be shared with technical providers necessary for the Service's operation (e.g., hosting or infrastructure providers).
5. Data Storage and Access
Data is stored electronically and processed using the technical means necessary for the Service to function.
Access to data is restricted to Service administrators only, to the extent necessary for support, administration, and the management of competitions.
6. Account and Data Deletion
The deletion of an account and its associated data is considered on a case-by-case basis by the Service administration.

By doing so, the user understands and agrees that:
- Public athletic results and historical competition data will be retained;
- Complete removal of all information may be impossible.
7. Amendments to the Agreement
This Agreement may be modified or updated as the Service evolves.
The current version of the Agreement is published on the Service's website. Publication of a new version constitutes notification to users of the changes.
Continued use of the Service after changes are published signifies acceptance of the updated version of the Agreement.
